Abstract
This paper dealt with Hamhodang Kiwha's Buddhist thought from the viewpoint of a meeting point of Confucianism and Buddhism in his two works, <>(顯正論) and <>(金剛經五家解說誼). I think that his assertion of a meeting point of Confucianism and Buddhism is a succession to the stream of Confucianism's relation with Buddhism, that is to say, Confucianism interpreted by Buddhist viewpoint since the middle of Koryo. The keyword of Hamhodang Kiwha's Buddhist thought is Prajna(般若) characterized by Undesignate(無相), Unthought(無念), and Relative(無住). He founded the principle of a meeting point of Son(禪) and Kyo(敎), or Confucianism and Buddhism on it.
